MGT 555 – Business Analytics
About Course
This course provides an introduction to the field of business analytics, which has been defined as the extensive use of data i.e., statistical and quantitative analysis, descriptive, predictive and prescriptive models. The use of Excel and Tableau as an analytic and visualization tools to support business analytics is discussed. Moreover, the application of selected data mining techniques to business decision making situations is also illustrated. Students actively participate in the delivery of this course through case, problem based learning and project presentations.
